Thinking Highways Europe/Rest of The World Edition Is Available Now!

The digital version of the Sep/Oct issue of Thinking Highways Europe/Rest of the World is out now and available to read or download.

This issue will be distributed at the ITS World Congress in Bordeaux so it’s no surprise that the congress theme, Towards Intelligent Mobility, informs much of the content. Dave Marples and Paul van Koningsbruggen’s cover feature, On The Right Track?, takes a fascinating look into the concept of personal mobility and how it will have an impact upon the ITS sector and we introduce a new regular section, GRID Smarter Cities, with Neil Herron identifying the often-missing element in the quest for the thinking city – the citizen.

Andrew Pickford and Sampo Heitanen conclude their study into Mobility as a Service and Kevin Borras speaks to Roland Meister, Head of Transport at Innovate UK in this issue’s big interview. There’s ITS WC previews and focuses on enforcement, the UAE and Budapest, among other articles, to delve into.

And don’t forget to check the ONLINE ARTICLES section of this website for two more Bordeaux-centric offerings – a comprehensive guide to what’s on offer at the World Congress next week and David Bonn’s plea for visitors to make the most of their time at this year’s main event.
