In the second show from the inaugural ITS 3C Summit in Mobile, Alabama, Kevin Borras begins by apologising to Iteris’ Todd Kell for an oddly memorable evening in 2001 before the discussion turns to the value of regional shows; Dave Sinise of ComNet talks about the importance of customer feedback and then Bryan Mulligan explains what his company, Applied Information, bring to the table.

Jeff Sadler then tells Kevin about Norscan’s Touchless Cable Locating as a precursor to an enlightening chat about the changing role of the TMC with Dennis Nuutinen and Jose Calheiros of Activu. Kevin finishes his time in the South by hearing from Alabama DOT’s Chris Hillyer, one of the driving forces behind ITS 3C, who talks about the two and half year planning process and what the future holds for the event.
