Ohio’s Transportation Research Center is an independent automotive proving ground providing R&D and compliance and certification testing for vehicles, together with cutting-edge crash testing and emissions testing facilities located on 4,500 acres of land in East Liberty, 40 miles northwest of Columbus. The TRC is pivotal to the implementation of Columbus’ Smart City Challenge initiatives and Thinking Highways/Thinking Cities editor in chief Kevin Borras spoke with TRC’s chief marketing officer Tim Leckey about the role that the facility is set to play.
